Sugar Cookies

1In a bowl, cream Glow Spread Margarine, cream cheese and sugar.

2Beat in egg yolk and extracts then combine the flour, salt and baking soda gradually adding to the creamed mixture.

3Cover and refrigerate for three hours or until easy to ply.

4On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to a thickness of 1/8”.

5Cut with a 2½” cookie cutter dipped in flour.

6Place an inch apart onto ungreased baking sheets then bake at 375ºF for eight to 10 minutes or until edges begin to brown.

7Cool for two minutes before removing from pan to wire racks and decorate as desired.

¼ cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup sugar

1 egg yolk

½ tsp vanilla extract

¼ tsp almond extract

2¼ cups all-purpose flour

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp baking soda
