On Sunday, June 8, 2025 more than 70 team members and their families from Roberts Manufacturing Company Limited (RMCO) came together to run, walk, and volunteer in the 2025 Chefette Fun Run – a long-standing community event that raises funds for children’s charities across Barbados.
For over a decade, the Chefette Fun Run has raised more than $120,000 annually to support impactful initiatives, including school supplies, breakfast feeding programmes, and wish-granting services for children in need. Beneficiaries include:
- Variety – The Children’s Charity
- The Precious Touch Foundation
- YWCA Breakfast Programme
- St. Dominic’s RCC Breakfast Programme
- Eden Lodge Youth Charitable Trust:
In alignment with our values of community and compassion, RMCO is proud to continue supporting this meaningful cause. This year, we added a meaningful test: the first male and female from Team RMCO to cross the finish line received $500 to donate to a cause close to their heart.
Beyond financial contributions, RMCO also supports the Chefette Fun Run through product donations to vital breakfast programmes year-round, and volunteer efforts at the hydration station, where our staff helped re-energise runners crossing the finish line.
